Matsya means fish. It is called Matsyasana, as the shape of a body becomes like a fish.
Before starting please follow Important Guidelines to get maximum benefits of Matsyasana or Fish Pose.
How to do Matsyasana or Fish Pose
1. Sit on the floor and sit upright.
2. Then put your feet in the same position as Padmasana and carefully lie back on your hands.
3. Lift the waist up by Exhaling, knees, buttocks and head on the ground. Keep a soft cloth under the head.
4. Hold the right toe with the left hand and the left toe with the right hand. Bend the corners of both hands to the ground.
5. Try to move the sight backwards toward the head while staying in the Aquarius position (Aquarius or Kumbhak means holding breath in or out).
6. Keep your teeth pressed and mouth closed.
7. Then relaxing the hand, lift your waist, lift your head and sit healthy.
8. Make laxatives by supplementing.
9. Matsyasana can also be done by first sleeping on the ground and then folding legs in Padmasana.
Time: one minute to 5 minutes.
